As Structures Lead and Treasurer, Sabastian Kotar oversees structural design and fabrication while managing the team's finances and budgeting. He works with sub-teams to ensure structural designs meet requirements, provide adequate structural support, and are toleranced appropriately.

Founding member. Aerodynamic analysis, CFD, mechanical design, and NASA research. Owns the vehicle from drawing through integration, testing, and flight.

Implements and enforces safety procedures for all operations. NAR regulations, federal law, and standard safety guidelines. Responsible for the safety of manufacturing, material handling, launch location, and launch processes of every vehicle.

As Avionics Lead for the NASA Student Launch Initiative, Kohl maintains the subteam that develops the electronics, programming and electrical systems for the vehicle. He is responsible for ensuring schedule, budget and technical needs are met for the subteam, and reports to the Project Manager and Vehicle Lead with necessary information.
